James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. 1 John 1:9-10 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives. These verses make it clear that we should take opportunities to confess our sins to each other. If we do so with sincerity and with a repentant spirit, God is faithful to forgive us of our sins. There is a website that makes sharing your Christian confession easy.
