What happens when a family member walks away from the faith? Do we shun them or do we love them? We do damage to the person and tarnish the image of our faith when we reject them. So, LIVE the faith and love them through their difficult time.

Should we practice holy ostracism because someone is homosexual? absolutely not. That only feeds the negative perception…that “we won’t associate with those sinners”..and that we are somehow better than them.

My wife and I spent the weekend out of town and visited the church of our in-laws. It was interesting to note how different their church was.
